Mr. Ashok Pathirage

Chairman

With a visionary outlook, Mr. Pathirage, provides strategic leadership to a conglomerate whose turnover is nearly Rs.40 Bn. He was appointed Chairman of Softlogic in 2003. Six other entities under his Chairmanship are listed on the Colombo Stock Exchange. He is the Chairman/Managing Director of the country’s leading private healthcare provider, Asiri Group of Hospitals. He is also Chairman of Softlogic Capital PLC, Softlogic Finance PLC, Asian Alliance Insurance PLC, Asian Alliance General Insurance Ltd. whilst also being Chairman of other Group companies that operate in Leisure, Retail, Automobile and ICT businesses. He also serves as Deputy Chairman of National Development Bank PLC and is Chairman of NDB Capital Holdings PLC.

 

Mr. Haresh Kaimal

Non- Executive Director

Mr. Haresh Kaimal is a co-founder of Softlogic and a Director since its inception. With over 25 years of experience in IT and operations, he currently heads the IT division of the Group to drive advancements in Information Technology and Enterprise Resource Management within Softlogic. Prior to taking over this role, he was heading a Joint Venture of Softlogic’s overseas subsidiary.

 

Dr. Sivakumar Selliah

Non- Executive & Independent Director

Dr. Selliah holds a MBBS degree and a Masters degree (M.Phil). He has over two decades of experience in diverse fields. He is currently the Deputy Chairman of Asiri Hospitals Holdings PLC, Asiri Surgical Hospital PLC and Central Hospital Ltd. He is a Director of Lanka Walltiles PLC, Softlogic Holdings PLC, Lanka Tiles PLC, Horana Plantations PLC and Lanka Ceramics PLC. He is also the Chairman of JAT Holdings (Private) Ltd and Cleanco Lanka (Pvt) Ltd. Dr. Selliah also serves as a Director of HNB Assurance PLC. Dr. Selliah serves on the Remuneration and Audit Committees on some of the companies listed above.

 

Mr. Ranil Pathirana

Non- Executive & Independent Director

Mr. Ranil Pathirana is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, UK and holds a B.Com Degree from the University of Jayawardenapura, Kotte. He has been a Director of the Board of Hirdaramani Group of Companies since 2000. He currently serves as a Non-Executive Director on the Boards of Sampath Bank PLC and ALUMEX Ltd.

Mr. Pathirana was an Assistant Vice President of Vanik Corporation from 1996-2000 and he was seconded as Chief Executive Officer of Vanik Bangladesh Securities and was responsible for setting up of two stockbroking companies in Chittagong and Dhaka.

 

Dr. Ruanthi De Silva

Non- Executive & Independent Director

Co –founder/ CEO of SCM- Plus, a platform for ship owners, managers and Service providers to engage in ethical quality focused procurement whilst being OPEX efficient. She was the immediate past Group Director of Supply Chain Management (SCM) at Bernhard Schulte Ship Management (BSM) which manages over 650 ships operating from over 23 offices around the world.

She carries over 40 years of local and international experience with blue-chip companies and have been in senior management positions covering strategic planning, finance, business process reengineering and operations. She was a key member of the Ceylon Shipping Corporation Team that introduced Containerization to Sri Lanka in 1978.

Dr. De Silva holds a Doctorate form the University of Newcastle in Australia and an MBA from the University of Hull, UK. She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, UK. She is also an Associate Member of Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport in Australia.
