Redesigned department store and popular restaurant offer an all-new shopping experience
The bustling suburb of Wattala was granted bragging rights to a new dimension in fashion and lifestyle retail when ODEL and Burger King came together at one spacious location to offer residents and passers-through better access to some of the global brands represented by the Softlogic Group.
The relocation today of the ODEL store which opened in Wattala in September 2011 to an address across the Colombo – Negombo Road results in a wider range of products in a completely re-designed 9,000 square feet of trendy retail space on two floors and the added attraction of a Burger King outlet in the same premises.
Softlogic Group Chairman Mr Ashok Pathirage formally declared open the new ODEL Department Store at No. 385, Negombo Road, Wattala.
With the move, ODEL shoppers in Wattala benefit from extra parking space and the most popular ODEL departments – Ladies, Men’s, Kids, Luv SL, Backstage, Shoes & Bags, Sports & Luggage, Perfumes and Delight – in a carefully designed layout that enhances the shopping experience, as well as a wider choice of international brands to choose from.
The new ODEL store’s offering of international brands includes clothing and sportswear brands such as Nike, Levi’s, Giordano, Puma, US Polo, Pepe Jeans and Disney; wrist watch brands like Michael Kors, DKNY, Adidas and Fossil; sunglasses from Prada, Vogue, Rayban, Giorgio Armani and Emporio Armani, and an extensive product range from Mothercare.
